We continue to send bread to Homs although the security situation makes it very difficult at times - the road is often shelled. At the weekend 240 packets were delivered to Qusayr, scene of very heavy fighting over the past months. We have received over a 1000 euros for this project, much raised privately in Germany. We give our heartfelt thanks to those who have donated. We have also decided to try and send bread daily, rather than weekly, our aim being a 100 packets a day (around $80). So far this week we have sent 205 packets (137 on Monday, and 68 on Tuesday - to Talbiseh and Jouyssi). Bread was also sent today though we don't know the exact amount right now. We will update with more information and pictures when we can. It is important to note that the people delivering this bread are risking their lives, and are working under the most difficult conditions. Every journey is potentially a deadly one. We ask them to only go when it is safe, but generally they insist, as they know how needed these deliveries are. Bless them, and everyone who has donated.
